I’ve decided the best time to shoot a wedding at the New York Botanical Garden is in the Fall. The Stone Mill is simply made to seen beside the colors of Autumn. Just as the leaves were reaching their peak of red right before the trees went bare in mid-november I photographed Chris and Rachel’s wedding at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. Even though the sun was setting as we did the portrait session but we managed to squeeze the most out of the light. Instead of dancing Rachel and Chris opted for a more low-key long dinner with a few speeches, cake cutting, and some good ol’ fashion conversation. I have a good feeling this wedding turned out exactly as they had hoped, they had smiles on their faces all night long! Congratulations Chris and Rachel! Thanks for having me along :-}
