Shooting a wedding in Los Angeles is always a treat especially when the venue is as cool and creative as The Smog Shoppe in Culver City. Last month I made the trip to LA for Frances + Partick’s wedding (aka Fratrick to those who know and love them). I had such a wonderful time and was completely inspired by pretty much everything. The venue, the music, the weather, the guests, everything was totally charming and overflowing with love and originality! Both my second photographer Mike and I couldn’t stop talking about how their wedding was like none we had ever seen before.
Two of my favorite little things— they had The Fantastic Mr. Fox playing on a big screen during the reception and their wedding invitation, which was a tri-fold brochure with a perforated tear-away RSVP, completed with a sewn paper sleeve map of each guest’s home region. For the photos of it, Frances gave me an NYC version :)
