When I first met up with Bohra and Michael at Blackbird Parlor in our neighborhood of Williamsburg Brooklyn, I knew we were a good fit! When it came time to discuss where we would be doing the engagement shoot it seemed so obvious– “Let’s just walk around the neighborhood!” Williamburg has been home to me for the last year and before that I spent most days here anyway.  So naturally I was super excited to finally do a shoot with one of my clients here. The neighborhood has so much to offer. There are tons of painted walls, cute cafes, and besides that, Autumn is in full swing! Could there be a better combination of photo-opps?

The whole shoot took place within about a 5×3 block radius, that’s it! We started at Michael’s apartment and went back when it was time to change clothes. I was so inspired by these two. They have such great style and helped me come up with some fun ideas for poses. After shooting with Michael and Bohra I feel like I’ve made some new friends and I can’t wait ’till their wedding day in March!  Thanks for making ‘work’ feel like play guys!
